Computer Assisted Instruction at GCS

Groton Central School has several exceptional computer assisted learning opportunities for students. The school has established several computer labs at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Additional lab areas will hopefully be added as needed. As computer knowledge and skills are critical to the prospective college student or job hunter, GCS has introduced several computer enhanced academic options.

Economics class focuses on the ways in which a society utilizes their resources in an ever changing world. Both Micro and Macro Economics are discussed as well as emphasis on personal finance.

The Participation in Government class explores the ways in which our democratic society interacts in both a national and global environment. It emphasizes the idea that your vote does matter as it represents the true voice of the people.
